1. Introduction
EduCaribe.org is committed to providing a high-quality, reliable, and accessible online learning experience. Because our courses and digital materials are made available instantly after purchase, our refund policy is designed to balance fairness to learners with the need to uphold the integrity of our digital products and the work of our instructors.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be granted for paid courses when a request is made within seven (7) days of purchase, provided that the learner has not viewed or completed more than twenty percent (20%) of the course. Refunds cannot be issued once any certificates, digital badges, downloadable files, or bonus materials have been accessed. Refunds only apply to purchases made directly on EduCaribe.org and not through external partners or institutional programmes.
3. Non-Refundable Items
Certain items are strictly non-refundable in order to protect course creators and maintain the value of our digital offerings. These include courses where more than twenty percent (20%) of the content has been consumed, courses for which certificates or digital badges have already been issued, all digital downloads or templates, subscription plans once a billing period has begun, and any courses purchased at a discount of fifty percent (50%) or more, including promotional bundles or limited-time offers.
4. Instructor-Created Courses
Some courses on EduCaribe.org are developed and delivered by independent instructors. While all refund decisions follow EduCaribe’s official policy, the platform may consult with the course instructor if needed to verify information. EduCaribe, however, reserves full decision-making authority to ensure consistency, fairness, and quality control across all courses.
5. Technical Issues
If a learner encounters a technical issue that prevents access to a purchased course, EduCaribe will make every reasonable effort to resolve the problem promptly. If the platform is unable to correct the issue within a reasonable timeframe, a refund may be considered as long as the student has not significantly consumed the course content. Refunds cannot be issued for issues caused by the learner’s device, browser, operating system, or internet connection.
6. Duplicate Charges
If a user is accidentally billed twice for the same course, EduCaribe will issue a full refund for the duplicate transaction upon verification. Learners may be required to provide purchase details such as transaction IDs or screenshots to facilitate accurate processing.
7. How to Request a Refund
Users requesting a refund must email support@educaribe.org with their full name, the email address used to sign up, the course title, and a brief explanation of the reason for the request. Refund requests are reviewed by the EduCaribe Support Team, and users will receive a response within three to five business days, with additional follow-up if further information is required.
8. Refund Method & Processing Time
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing times may vary depending on the user’s bank or payment provider, but refunds generally take between five to ten business days to appear. EduCaribe cannot be held responsible for delays caused by financial institutions or payment gateways.
9. Policy Abuse & Account Restrictions
EduCaribe reserves the right to deny refund requests from users who repeatedly seek refunds or demonstrate patterns that suggest abuse of the policy. Accounts may be suspended or restricted in cases of suspected fraud, misuse, or attempts to exploit the refund process. These measures are implemented to protect the platform, instructors, and legitimate learners.
10. Updates to This Policy
EduCaribe may revise or update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page along with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the platform after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
