Carla Parris, an Attorney-at-Law, founder of a boutique Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law firm, and the creator of The Business of Carnival®—a respected web and television series examining the business, legal, and innovation aspects of the carnival and festival industries across the Caribbean diaspora. Carla also works extensively within the global innovation ecosystem as a consultant to UN-affiliated incubators and accelerator programmes across the Caribbean, Latin America, and the Pacific Islands. Her work includes advising on accelerator programme design, policy and governance structures, and Intellectual Property frameworks, as well as directly training SMEs and founders to develop scalable, export-ready ventures built on strong IP and sustainable commercial models.
